Adnan Rashid
Senior Researcher and Advisor
Adnan Rashid obtained a honours degree in History fron the University of London. He specialises in the history of Islamic civilisation, sciences, numismatics, ancient manuscripts and antiques. He is a public speaker with an experience of delivering presentations on Islamic topics in a number of universities.
Adnan is a senior researcher for the Hittin Institute and has received popularity through his debates with a number of Christian clergy. He is presently serving as a Khateeb at a West London mosque and has appeared on a number of radio programmes to represent Islam and Muslims.

Hamza Andreas Tzortzis, a convert to Islam, is an international lecturer, public speaker and writer. He is particularly interested in issues related to Islam, philosophy and politics. Hamza delivers university lectures and participates in debates with academics, politicians, lecturers, scientists and representatives from various organisations.
Hamza is a senior researcher for the Hittin Institute, with an educational background in Psychology and Islamic Studies. By profession he is a qualified Project Management Professional.

Umar Ansari

Umar Ansari earned a B.Sc. in Social Policy and Management from London Guildhall University and is currently working as an Operations Manager at a leading service sector organisation in the UK. Before joining the Hittin Institute, Umar has been involved in pioneering educational and
charitable projects within the developing world and has gained invaluable experience in project composition and management.
Umar is currently serving on the board of a human rights organisation and is engaged in community projects dealing with the Muslim prison community.
